MECHANISM OF ACTION
 

The anti-inflammatory natural component API-NORM® NEO combines the restoration of the depleted potential of the cell's defense mechanisms with the effects of inhibiting unwanted increased proliferation and activating the self-destruction function of defective cells, bringing these functions to the physiological norm.

A common feature of natural multicomponent topical preparations is the normalization of the sensitivity of many cell regulatory systems at once, which have been disrupted due to prolonged irritation by cell-damaging factors. This is ensured by the simultaneous effect on a wide range of different signaling and biochemical cascades of a variety of biological substances that have entered the cells directly at the site of application, avoiding complete or partial destruction in the gastrointestinal tract and liver. This approach is especially effective in chronic inflammation, when cells or tissues that have not been able to cope with long-term damage, almost stop responding to it. INDICATIONS FOR USE:
 

• In gynecology in chronic inflammatory processes in the pelvic organs, in violation of local immunity, the threat of occurrence and development of neoplastic processes, in complex antitumor therapy of vaginal and cervical mucosa, cervical dysplasia, endometritis, endometrial hyperplasia and other diseases of the endometriosis and salphonia.

• In urology in chronic inflammatory processes that threaten the development of neoplastic changes in complex antitumor therapy of the urinary system.
   

CONTRAINDICATION
 

Do not use during pregnancy. Breastfeeding should be discontinued during treatment. Use with caution in severe hepatic impairment, individual hypersensitivity to any of the components of the remedy. During treatment, it is advisable to abstain from sexual intercourse, other traumatic actions, consumption of spicy foods and alcoholic beverages.
 

HOW TO USE
 

Terms. The suppository is inserted into the vagina after hygienic procedures to the depth of the index finger. After administration of the suppository, it is recommended to lie on your left or right side for 15 minutes. If the mucous membrane is damaged, burning may be felt for 3-5 minutes in the first days of use. To prevent staining of underwear, it is recommended to use sanitary pads.

At chronic inflammatory processes and neoplastic changes in bodies of a small pelvis apply on 1 suppository for the night within 10-15 days. Depending on the course of the disease and the doctor's recommendation, there may be up to three such courses. The break between courses should be 5 days.
To enhance the therapeutic availability of the uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries, API-NORM® NEO vaginal suppositories are used simultaneously - vaginally, and API-NORM® NEO rectal suppositories - rectally 1 suppository of each type per night. The course of dual use is 10-15 days. Depending on the course of the disease, there may be up to three such courses. The break between courses should be 5 days. The decision on further use is made based on the results of the assessment of the dynamics of changes and the doctor's recommendation.

During rehabilitation after radiation and chemotherapy API-NORM® NEO is started on the second day after the end of radiation courses and on the 7th-10th day after the end of chemotherapy 1 suppository per night for 10-15 days. The duration of application is determined by the dynamics of rehabilitation. In the case of slow positive dynamics, the course can be repeated by taking a break between courses of 5 days. There can be up to three such courses.

In the preoperative period API-NORM® NEO is used to reduce edema, to prevent sepsis, increase tumor resectability. For this purpose, use 2 suppositories per night for 5-10 days. To avoid masking the operating field with additional staining, suppositories should be discontinued 2-3 days before surgery.

In the postoperative period on the second day after surgery on the pelvic organs use 1-2 suppositories per day to relieve edema, prevent inflammation, sepsis, analgesia and inhibition of excessive proliferation. After 10-15 days of reception it is necessary to take a break for 5 days. Further use is determined by the dynamics of the recovery process and the doctor's recommendation.

For palliative care and in cases of impossibility or inexpediency of further full cytotoxic therapy and surgery, API-NORM® NEO suppositories are used to inhibit the development of the tumor process, relieve inflammation, analgesia, improve general condition. Can be used both sporadically and in courses lasting 10-15 days, 2 suppositories per day. The break between courses should be 5 days.

To prevent recurrence of chronic inflammation and neoplastic changes in the pelvic organs, in patients with cancer or genetic predisposition - every three months for two years and especially in autumn and spring, it is recommended to conduct preventive courses of 1 suppository per night, daily or every other day for 10-15 days. If the condition worsens, it is possible to conduct additional maintenance courses of 1 suppository for 10 days.

SIDE EFFECTS
 

General weakness, dizziness, nausea, joint pain, gastrointestinal upset, burning and itching in the vagina are possible. In the event of such symptoms, the remedy is reduced to 1 suppository per day for up to 3-5 days. Then you should continue the planned course. If the above or other side effects that have not been observed before last for more than 3-5 days, you should stop taking the remedy and see a doctor.
 

OVERDOSE
 

These side effects may be exacerbated.
