MECHANISM OF ACTION
 

The anti-inflammatory natural remedy API-NORM® NEO combines the restoration of the depleted potential of the cell's defense mechanisms with the effects of inhibiting unwanted increased proliferation and activating the self-destruction function of defective cells, bringing these functions to the physiological norm.

A common feature of multicomponent natural preparations used in the form of suppositories is the normalization of the sensitivity of many regulatory systems of the cell, which were disrupted due to prolonged irritation by factors that affect cells. This is ensured by the simultaneous effect on a wide range of different signaling and biochemical cascades of a variety of biological substances that have entered the cells directly at the site of application, avoiding complete or partial destruction in the gastrointestinal tract and liver. This approach is especially effective in chronic inflammation, when cells or tissues that have not been able to cope with prolonged damage, almost stop responding to it. INDICATIONS FOR USE:
 

• In proctology: with adenomatous polyps, erosions, chronic inflammatory processes, with the threat of occurrence and development of neoplastic changes in the rectum and sigmoid colon.

• In urology: in chronic inflammatory processes that threaten the development of neoplastic changes in the prostate, urinary system, seminal vesicles and other pelvic organs.

• In gynecology: for chronic inflammatory processes and neoplastic changes of the uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries.

CONTRAINDICATION
 

Do not use during pregnancy. Breastfeeding should be discontinued during treatment. Use with caution in severe hepatic impairment, individual hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug. During treatment it is advisable to refrain from traumatic actions, consumption of spicy foods and alcoholic beverages. Alcohol intoxication destroys the achieved therapeutic effect.
 

HOW TO USE
 

Terms. Before using the remedy, to improve the absorption through the rectum of active substances, it is desirable to empty the bowel. The suppository is injected into the rectum to the depth of the index finger. After administration of the suppository, it is recommended to lie on your left or right side for 15 minutes. If the mucous membrane is damaged, burning may be felt for 3-5 minutes in the first days of use.

At chronic inflammatory processes and neoplastic changes in bodies of a small pelvis apply on 1 suppository for the night within 10-15 days. Depending on the course of the disease and the doctor's recommendation, there may be up to three such courses. The break between courses should be 5 days.

During rehabilitation after radiation and chemotherapy API-NORM® NEO is used on the second day after the end of radiation courses, and on the 7-10th day after the end of chemotherapy 1 suppository per night for 10-15 days. The duration of use is determined by the dynamics of rehabilitation and the doctor's recommendation. Depending on the course of the disease and the doctor's recommendation, there may be up to three such courses. The break between courses should be 5 days.

In the preoperative period, API-NORM® NEO is used to reduce inflammation and increase tumor resectability. For this purpose, use 2 suppositories per night for 5-10 days. To ensure good visibility of the operating field, the use of suppositories should be stopped 2-3 days before surgery.

In the postoperative period on the second day after surgery on the pelvic organs use 1-2 suppositories per day to relieve swelling, prevent inflammation, sepsis, analgesia and suppress excessive proliferation. The duration of application is determined by the dynamics of recovery processes. After 10-15 days of reception it is necessary to take a break for 5 days and continue further use on the advice of a doctor.

Features of use in gynecology to enhance the therapeutic availability of the uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries are used simultaneously vaginal suppositories API-NORM® NEO - vaginal and rectal suppositories API-NORM® NEO - rectally 1 suppository of each type per night.

The course of dual use is 10-15 days. The break between courses should be 5 days. The decision on further use is made based on the results of the assessment of the dynamics of changes and the doctor's recommendation.

For palliative care and in cases of impossibility or inexpediency of further full cytotoxic therapy and surgery, API-NORM® NEO suppositories are used to inhibit the development of the tumor process, relieve inflammation, analgesia, improve general condition. Can be used both sporadically and in courses lasting 10-15 days, 2 suppositories per day. The break between courses should be 5 days.

To prevent the recurrence of chronic inflammation and neoplastic changes in the pelvic organs, in patients with cancer or genetic predisposition, it is recommended every three months for two years and especially in autumn and spring to conduct preventive courses of 1 suppository per night, daily or every other day for 10-15 days. If the condition worsens, it is possible to conduct additional maintenance courses of 1 suppository per day for 5-10 days per month.
 

SIDE EFFECTS
 

General weakness, dizziness, nausea, joint pain, gastrointestinal upset, burning and itching in the rectum are possible. If such symptoms occur, the remedy is reduced to 1 suppository per day for 3-5 days. Then you should continue the course. If the above or other side effects have not been observed for more than 3-5 days, you should stop taking the remedy and see a doctor.
 

OVERDOSE
 

The side effects may be exacerbated.
